This charger is not just for charging 12V and 24V batteries, but also serves as a 36V and 48V battery charger. Now, you only need one charger to charge different battery types, including SLA, AGM, GEL, lithium, LiFePO4, and deep cycle batteries, for your car, motorcycle, vehicle, RV, ATV, SUV, Golf Cart, forklift, marine, and boat.
The charger offers two charging modes: Normal mode and "H" mode (pulse of high-voltage). The Normal mode is for daily charging, where you can turn the AMPERE knob to set the charging rate. The "H" mode is for an emergency quick charge or battery maintenance, and a lower charging rate is recommended.
The intelligent charging program ensures you choose the corresponding voltage to charge your batteries. The charger will automatically adjust the charging voltage and current according to the battery status, providing a constant current, constant voltage power supply for zero voltage charging. This feature helps troubleshoot low voltage batteries or equalize an unbalanced battery system, ultimately extending the battery life.
The "H" mode, also known as the EQUALIZING CHARGE, is particularly useful for golf carts, which typically come with 4 to 8 batteries. If one of the batteries goes bad, the "H" mode can help keep or change just the bad one, especially if the cart is only used on weekends or to save money.
The charger is designed with an overload circuit breaker and an automatic control chip, providing full protection. Simply plug it in, and you can charge your batteries 24/7 without worry. However, it is important to note that you should not connect lithium LiFePO4 batteries without a Battery Management System (BMS) to the charger for an extended period.
Compared to the model C40, this lightweight version is 1/4 lighter and cannot charge 60V or 72V batteries. The current ratings are: 12V-12A (max), 24V-10A (max), 36V-8A (max), and 48V-6A (max).
