Puerh tea is made from carefully selected old-growth Puer tea leaves from the Bulang Mountain area of Menghai County, Yunnan, China, harvested in 2014.
The tea cakes are well-shaped, round, and have a balanced firmness. The tea leaves display a rich, reddish-brown color with an oily sheen and golden buds.
The flavor profile is bold and robust, with a smooth, velvety mouthfeel. The tea has a rich, complex aroma with hints of aged sandalwood and a long-lasting, lingering aftertaste.
It is recommended to rinse the tea leaves for the first two infusions to open up the leaves. This tea has excellent longevity, with the ability to produce 10 or more infusions while still retaining a pleasant fragrance.
